Anthology 4, com curadoria de Giles Martin, inclui 13 outtakes inéditos de sessões, datados de 1963 a 1969. Inclui também o último single da banda, "Now And Then", lançado em 2023, e novas mixagens de singles de sucesso dos Beatles associados à Anthology: as vencedoras do GRAMMY "Free As A Bird" e "Real Love", que ganharam nova vida com seu produtor original, Jeff Lynne, utilizando vocais desmixados de John Lennon. As notas das faixas foram escritas por Kevin Howlett, com uma introdução compilada a partir de entrevistas de 1996 gravadas com Derek Taylor, amigo próximo e conselheiro dos Beatles.
